Mesh belt inline type blanching machine can also be used as cooking line and pasteurization machine by adjusting the water temperature and belt speed. This machine is usually installed as part of a food processing line, to work as a role of blanching/cooking/pasteurization machine according to the food processing technology requirements.

The machine works with steam generator/vapor generator to get hot water, or use electric heating method to get hot water. We usualyl recommend the steam generator for water heating.

This machine is often used as blanching machine for vegetables and fruit products, including leaf vegetables, root vegetables, fruit chips, etc.

Why vegetable and fruit blanching is necessary

The blanching process is often required for color-retaining in the processing of fruits and vegetables, because it inhibits the activity of enzymes. The blanching process paves way for the next process of cleaning, drying and dehydration, etc.

What is pasteurization

Pasteurization or pasteurisation is a process in which packaged and non-packaged foods (such as milk and fruit juices) are treated with mild heat, usually to less than 100 °C (212 °F), to eliminate pathogens and extend shelf life. The process is intended to destroy or deactivate organisms and enzymes that contribute to spoilage or risk of disease, including vegetative bacteria, but not bacterial spores.
